The College of Engineering Technology has various computer labs that students may need to access. Our students will automatically have access to their department's primary labs*. Having swipe access to some labs require that they be a student taking certain courses in order to receive swipe access. Please read on for more information in regards to your department's labs specifically.

CETEMS Students

CETEMS Students will have access to ENT-2165 (DDL) automatically.

ENT-1125 swipe access is reserved for only those students who have courses in that lab. Please only request access to ENT-1125 if you're taking a course that happens in that lab.

ECET Department Students

ECET Students will have access to ENT-3125 (Circuits), ENT-3145 (Electronics), GOL-1350 (EDA), and ENT-2140 (Student Lounge) automatically.

GOL-1360 swipe access is reserved for only those students who have courses in that lab. Please only request access to GOL-1360 if you're taking a course that happens in that lab.

MMET Students

MMET Students will have access to GOL-1180 and GOL-1320 automatically.

PGMS Students

PGMS Students will have access to GOL-1180 and GOL-1320 automatically.

How to Request Swipe Access

  • Please verify that you actually don't have access to a lab before submitting a request.
  • Please include:
    • The lab/s you're requesting access to (ie. ENT-1125, GOL-1360, etc)
    • The course you need access for and who your professor is
  • All requests must be sent from your RIT email account.
  • Email your request to cettech@rit.edu.
